ajikan announced the release of their second dvd, eizo sakushin shu vol.2: it will be available from april 20th.
it will include various live performance videos of the band that didn't make it into the first dvd, plus new live videos registered since november.
more news as soon as they are made available.

we also learn from gotoh's official web diary that the band is currently working with an overseas artist on a cd. that's great news for sure! we hope they'll give more information soon... at least the artist's name...

before taking on their 2005 re:re: tour, ajikan will be performing at sonicmania.
the festival, held on 5th and 6th of february, is composed of two major dates, one in tokyo and one in osaka. some artists will perform in tokyo on saturday and in osaka on sunday, while others will do the opposite.
ajikan, with good charlotte, kasabian and many others important bands, are in the first category; the most representative artists in the second are marilyn manson and velvet revolver.

the band has added some new dates to his absolutely sold out tour.

and now some marketing related news: the sells of sol-fa are passing any optimistic prevision, and are attested to be between 500,000 and 600,000 copies.
the dvd is also going very well.

the long awaited day is here, sol-fa is out!

also, space shower tv is hosting an asian kung-fu generation day; this event will take place on october 24th.

finally, the band announced its upcoming 2005 tour: the title is re: re:, after one of the new songs included in sol-fa.
this is going to be a huge tour, with 48 dates, starting on march 16th, ending on june 21st.

as you can see the layout is quite the same, but the contents have been heavily modified.
the only two things still missing are the avatars (shame on daiji!) and the videos (i need to find good encoding settings...).
well, i guess this can be considered the real launch of this website.

tomorrow space shower tv, a japanese network, is holding its 15th sweet love shower special.
asian kung-fu generation will be there, and char, 10-feet, pushim, yuki and sambo master will be performing with them.
the channel will be broadcasting the event live on the internet as well as on tv.

the second asian kung-fu generation full-lenght album is on the way!!
the frontman, masafumi gotou, during one of the many live performances of the summer announced that the new album will be out in december.
the official announcement states that sol-fa (this seems to be the name) will be out october 20th!
the album will contain 12 tracks, among which siren, loop & loop, rewrite and kimi no machi made.
later, november 26th, will also be out the band's first dvd (the official website says eizosakuhinsyuu ikkann, but it seems to be the usual weird japanese romanization :P).
